Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) is an evidence-based practice that has been found to be effective for individuals with co-occurring disorders (diagnosis of severe mental illness and substance use disorder). The foundation of IDDT is the transtheoretical model of the stages of change. This training will focus on the importance of utilizing integrated treatment by reviewing the stages of change and understanding the stages of treatment. We will also review and understand the types of
clinical interventions that are helpful during each stage of treatment. Participants can expect an interactive training that will allow them to practice staging together.
